From the Foster:

Daisy has been with me for a week now. She learned to go in her crate for a treat within the first 48 hours and sleeps peacefully in it all night.  She did try to dominate the resident dogs at first but now she gets along with them from the 6 month old to the 15 year old. Daisy just recently felt comfortable enough to play with toys. Her favorite is a Nylabone which she drops at your feet or puts on your lap to get you to play with her.  She is possessive of her toy and her food with dogs only, so she is fed in a crate in her own room. She is learning to share the toys and is doing great at that. Daisy is totally house trained, not one accident since she got here.  Daisy loves to be outside but would prefer her person to go out with her. As soon as she realizes I am not out with her she wants to come inside. Daisy does not seem to be a barker even when her housemates are barking up a storm. She would probably do just fine in an apartment. Daisy takes awhile to warm up to strangers but she is getting better especially if the stranger has good treats.  She has not been around any kids here but seemed to do fine with the ones that she met at PetSmart and Home Depot.  However, due her enthusiasm for her toy I would recommend kids 10 or older since when she grabs for the toy she may accidently get little fingers too. We are working on "take it easy" and she is getting better about snatching.  Daisy is leash trained but needs work on not pulling.

Overall, Daisy is a sweet girl and if I already didn't have 2 foster failures living here I would be happy to have her forever.

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
