From the Foster:   Cade is pretty much the quintessential 'tom cat'.  If you're looking for a bigger, lazier, all around mellow dude - Cade is your guy.  He really isn't phased by much.  New cats?  No big deal.  Dogs?  Pfft.  Don't even have to look at them twice.  Kids?  Chaos?  Commotion?  Nope - nothing makes this guy react at all.  He doesn't mind being dressed up in clothes.  Doesn't mind being carried around or getting big hugs.  He doesn't mind sleeping on your bed or taking over your pillows, either.  He's really a pretty (pardon the expression) Cool Cat.  He's also very handsome.

The one thing you do need to know is that he is a bit of a talker - especially at night.  This has minimized since he's been with us - but to me it seems like he's used to roaming the neighborhood at night and being the talk of the town.  He kind of 'yowls' occasionally and while it is annoying - you do get used to it.  Because of this I'm not certain he would be appreciated in an apartment complex, but I do think with more time being an indoor cat it might minimize even more.  But if you don't mind a little night time conversation, this guy really is just the best cat around.

All cats are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.

If you live in MN, WI, IA, SD, ND, or IL and would like to meet/adopt this animal or anyone else, then please fill out an adoption application at http://secondhandhounds.org/adoption-information/and the foster(s) will be in touch!  Keep in mind that there may be multiple applicants applying for the same animal(s).  You only need to complete 1 application for multiple animals that you're interested in.

Note   - We change an animal's listing to say "PENDING ADOPTION" when they already had a meet and greet with a family who plans to adopt that animal.  We put "NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS" on a listing when an animal has multiple applications in and the foster has asked to stop accepting any more while they review the applications they've already received.

Thanks for your interest in Secondhand Hounds!
