From the Foster: Abby is a very sweet and friendly girl. She loves to snuggle up next to you and take a nap and will happily snore away. Belly rubs are her favorite! She would love a home where she is able to go on lots of walks or spend time outside as she really enjoys just sniffing around and exploring the world.

She is crate trained and wouldn't need to be once she has settled in and been taught basic manners. Abby does need lots of chewing toys as she does like to chew and if things are not available to her, she will find her own. With training however, Abby can be taught what she is allowed to chow on.

Abby is very friendly towards other dogs, but may need slow introductions at first. Her fosters have been working on socializing her with dogs and she is doing great and warming up quicker to other dogs.

Abby was introduced to a resident cat which she followed around and even played some with the cat. There is one resident cat that doesn't enjoy the company of dogs, and although Abby really wants to be friends with her, she does not go after him, but will pout some that he does not like him. Abby has met kids and is gentle and loving to them. She has let kids hug her, pet her, and walk her.

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
