From the Foster:  Hi! My name is Oski or Oscar!

As you can tell from my photos I am a very happy guy.. I am always smiling and wagging my tail. Guess you could say I am happy jolly weenie who is super excited to be in a foster home. My foster dad says I am probably the happiest dog he has ever met!

I get along great with my doggie foster brothers.. and the resident cat in my foster home, but there are times where I just want Oski time and like to be alone so I find a corner.. or a piece of furniture I can hide in, or sit behind.

One other thing I am sure you can tell from my photos is that I am a chubby guy.. so I am on a strict diet in my foster home. My foster mom has been bringing me on two walks a day in addition to portioning my food and limiting treats. Although our walks usually aren’t very long.. my foster mom wants you to know I have a great attitude about the walks and love them! And I know over time once I drop a few pounds I will be more active and my walks can go longer.  My chubby physique also doesn’t affect me being able to use stairs either.. I get around just fine.

A few other things about me, I ride GREAT in the car. I LOVE belly rubs, although sometimes I get so excited and happy over belly rubs I tinkle a little bit… I cant help it..I get so happy and excited it just happens.  Aside from my few tinkle incidents from belly rubs, I haven’t had one accident in my foster house.  I know outside time, and walks are for taking care of business.

I did get a haircut prior to coming to Minnesota.. but I am a long furred guy actually. My foster mom assures me my fur will grow back soon, and it will be beautiful and soft. I will NOT require regular grooming, just occasional brushing to avoid matts in my fur.
