Caine is not a loud dog and he doesn’t do much barking.  He will cry (whine) excitedly when I come home and often sits in the window watching for me.  He doesn’t really appreciate being crated and will whine and cry when this is done.  He would much rather spend the night snuggled under the covers in your bed.

  When he first came to my house he did have a few accidents but I learned that he often just needs to be carried out into the grass (because he doesn’t want to get his feet wet but once you get them wet, he’s over it) and if I stay out with him he does his business. Since it’s summer I just leave the back door open to the fenced in yard so they can go out whenever they need. But if that’s not an option a simple belly band will take care of any accidents.

  He’s been around kids aged around 8-10 and does well though he’s a bit shy with them (as well as anyone new) – in an active house of running kids, he’s probably more likely to hide under a table than to give chase.

  I can’t say enough about his disposition – he really is sweet and his little ears are like individual radar antennas – operating separately.  He loves to give you soft little kisses to show how much he loves you. He will make someone a very wonderful companion.
