hi! My name is Elijah Wood.. or Eli for short...
I'm a California guy who was lucky enough to make the trip to Minnesota to find my forever home... and boy do I love it here! When you meet me you will notice that I am one of the happiest guys around!! Being around humans is one of my favorite things. I love to greet you when you walk in the door with doggie kisses. And if you pet me and rub my belly I will likely give you big puppy smiles... and if you are really lucky.. I will show you my fabulous underbite. I love other dogs.... I live with two other dogs right now, and we all get along great!! I also live with a cat ..I dont mind him at all... although I do find him a bit boring since all he does is eat and sleep. Sometimes I try and sneak a bite or two of his food.. I cant help myself it smells so delicious. One of my favorite things to do is take walks... I LOVE walks.... and my foster mom says I have awesome leash manors!! A forever home with a fenced yard would be wonderful if possible, since I could spend hours outside running around. I also like to sit on the deck and tan myself, I am a California guy after all. I do have a special characteristic.. one of my back legs doesn't work so good.. I cant use it or bend it.. but it doesn't slow me down at all or cause me any pain. Everybody that i have met so far has told me that's its actually pretty cute and it makes me unique! Not often you come across a peg legged dog!! My foster mom also wants you to know that I am potty trained, I haven't had any accidents in the house! And I do appear to be kennel trained, although I am not always kenneled at my foster home because I am such a well behaved lil guy.
