From the Foster:

Everyone meet Abigail, aka Abby!  Abby came to our rescue Heartworm positive and has spent the last 4 months recuperating and getting healthy.  We are happy to say that Little Miss Abby is Heartworm Negative!  Abby is your typical Doxie: energetic, inquisitive, funny, cuddly and mischievous.  She has spent the last 4 months decapitating, de-stuffing, and de-squeakering every since toy or stuffed animal in the house.  If you have an infestation of squeaky toys, or stuffed animals then this is your girl!!  Abby loves to play fetch, tug or just run around like a crazy girl :)  She hasn't meet a kid that she didn't want to play with or an adult that didn't need to have her in their lap.  Every dog she has meet is suppose to be her friend as well.
Ms. Abby is housebroken but will piddle if you pet her once you get home since she is so excited to see you.  That has been mostly cleared up with us ignoring her when we come in the door and greet her last.  Also, I have found if you have her jump up on your leg to get pet then she will not piddle.  But she does wait for permission to jump, so that is very nice.
Also, if you are looking for a security alarm then look no further!  Ms. Abby is very vocal when it comes to strangers in the house but chills out once she realizes they are ok and aren't there to cause harm.  She is also a great talker!  She loves to make little chirps, yips and will chat with you once you get her going.
Abby has been a great foster kiddo and one that will hold a special place in our lives.  She has been our first Heartworm positive dog and it was a learning experience.  Abby was fantastic throughout the whole process and took her treatments like a champ!

From Abby:
HI! My name is Abby!  I am a Doxie!  I love toys! And treats! And toys! And squeakers! And playing! And naps! And I really love playing with toys!  My foster house had a lot of those laying around so I thought I would help clean them up!  Sometimes I get really excited and will have a little accident but when I feel comfortable and safe, I don't do it as much.  I would love to have some kids or another dog to play with!  I love kids and dogs! I have some energy and love to run around!  BUT I still love taking naps!  Naps are awesome! Thanks for listening to me!!!!!!

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
