From the Foster: Daisie is an amazing animal. She is so loving and friendly. She is a gentle soul who is simply looking for love. She has already grown greatly attached to us which makes it clear that she loves human interaction and bonds well with her humans. She currently lives with my husband and I, and our three children (ages 10, 7 and 20 mos), as well as our two Italian Greyhounds Penny & Norman (ages 10 and 5 respectively). So far, she gets along with everyone.
Daisie spent the first night nestled at the foot of the bed of one of our children. She slept happily all night long and even needed to be woken up in the morning to be let out to potty and eat.
It is clear to us that Daisie is not familiar with being a family dog yet as she had never seen stairs before and has not gotten a perfect handle on outdoor pottying. She did potty outside within the first few minutes she was here, however, and has only had one accident in the house so far. She is learning not to fear the steps and has enjoyed investigating every nook and cranny of our house. Daisy does a good job so far of self-feeding and drinking, doing so as she needs.
Daisie is such a sweetheart. You need only to meet this amazing animal and she's certain to melt your heart."
