From the Foster: Dexter is a very sweet and loving boy, he doesn’t have any aggression or behaviors. He always wants to be by our side and loves to cuddle; in fact he sleeps in our bed with us! He gets very excited when he first sees you and then he calms down after he knows you are here to stay. He has gotten along great with our female German Shepherd, they play together for hours.
He has chewed on one pair of sandals but otherwise has stuck to playing with toys, no chewing on furniture or other valuables. He was crate trained prior to us getting him, but we have left him in our kitchen to roam when we are gone and he hasn’t had any problems. He has only had one accident the first night while staying with us, otherwise he has been completely potty trained. We have left him for 7-8 hours as well and he has had no accidents.
He is starting to learn the basic commands and does well with them. He is the sweetest dog and has already filled our home with a lot of love and laughter. He will be a difficult one to let go of but we know he is so deserving of receiving the unconditional love that he gives out in return by his future forever family.
