English Bulldog (short coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Large
Name: Daisy Mae She is currently 49 pounds and will need to keep the weight off to keep her mobility with a good exercise schedule. An adopter must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist her in and out of a car as well as stairs. Daisy Mae enjoys her low impact, short walks 3 times a day but when she tires, she becomes a 100 pound-like lovable dead weight. She enjoys to be rubbed all over and is very tolerant of baths and maintenance wipes she requires. She had an ulcer on her eye that ruptured causing her to be mostly blind in her left eye but that does not slow her down much. She loves her people and enjoys meeting any one new. Children would need to be aware to not approach her on the left blind side without notice but she loves any and all attention she knows is coming. Slow introductions to any dogs is a must for this girl. She should be either an only dog or in a house with a submissive male. She doesn't care about cats. She cannot be crated. Daisy Mae would need room to move around and stretch in a larger but controlled safe environment with a bed all her own. The right forever family must understand her age and background requires more than typical attention to her daily and future special needs.
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
