Ulani is as sweet and gentle as they come! She has beautiful golden eyes and is often told how adorable she is.  She enjoys our three young children and loves a good scratch to the ears.  She's really mellow, and though she loves any attention you can spare, she doesn't ask for much.  When she first came to stay with us, we quickly learned that she loves to sit and shake and will do them both interchangeably.  She's proud of her little trick and likes to show it off to anyone that will return her shake.

Ulani does excellent on a leash and loves going for walks; we her joke that she could teach our resident dog a thing or two about proper walking etiquette.  She also will quietly go into her crate and sleep through the night.  I work part-time, so she handles her crate well on the days we're not home.  She's potty trained and hasn't had a single accident since she's been with us.

We have one dog, in which we are taking their interactions slowly.  Ulani has shown a little bit of resource guarding, so if you do have another dog, she would be best with someone who is able to enforce a slow introduction and keep their toys and food separated as they settle in together.
