Pit Bull Terrier (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Large
Name: Sabby
From the Foster:
Sabby is a very nice dog. He gets along well with our resident dog. He is very social and would do well with another dog in the household. He is more of a follower than a leader. For example, he does not bark at people and dogs who walk by the window, but he will be instigated to join in by our resident dog. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night in a separate room, as he is a loud snorer. He is desperate to win the affection of our cats, but can, at times, come off a little too aggressive. For example, he will chase the cats around and try to nip at their tails.
Recently, we took him to the SHH vet because he was favoring his left front
paw. Turns out he has a healing lesion on his paw and osteoarthritis
of his left shoulder. He was started on supplements and an NSAID as needed. He has other health ailments that are currently being managed including an aggressive weight loss plan. His weight also plays a role in making his joints worse.
