From the Foster:

Nova is a playful, cuddly, and smart sweetheart. She responds well to training and is motivated by treats, play, and belly rubs. She would love a home where someone is interested in teaching her new skills and tricks. She knows “sit” and is working on not jumping and “come”, as well as on leash manners. She loves toys and will play fetch, tug of war, and just play around by herself with them. She gets along with other dogs but can be a bit persistent about wanting to play at times. She adapted well to our resident dogs’ boundaries. She would be great as a playmate for another playful dog!

She is a young girl and does best with at least 2-3 active sessions (running around the back yard, walking/running, lively play session) per day. She still occasionally has some puppy-like mouthing activity that she is working on. Nova is house-trained and crate-trained. She easily goes in her crate and stays there quietly all night. Young kids make her nervous, and her energetic play style is probably not a good match for them anyway. She is fine with older kids. She loves to cuddle and will happily fill your lap with warmth and some kisses once she gets comfortable. She needs a little time to warm up to new people, but once she gets through her initial nervousness, she is very sweet.
