Palisade is a sweet and happy puppy! He loves meeting new people and dogs - super friendly and not afraid to go up to everyone to get pets. He really likes kids but can get a little excited and try to jump on them. He loves to give kisses and scrunches his face up like a little smile.

We have gotten on a really good schedule with him and he’s doing really well! Very minimal accidents in the house (mostly when he first came to my house) with a solid routine and just watching for his signals. We are working on crate training - he has no problem going in and sleeps through the night with no issue. During the day he will make noise when he goes in but it has been getting easier for him. With more training and a little patience, he should get used to it with no problem.  He’s made a ton of progress with me in a short amount of time.

Palisade loves toys - balls, squeakers, everything. He’s easily redirected especially with toys around. He hasn’t chewed on anything he isn’t supposed to but will sometimes take a shoe and hold it in his mouth. He’s very food motivated and additional training should be a breeze.

Palisade would do well in a home with or without another dog. He is currently living with 2 resident dogs and he loves to run and play but truly loves being around people. He’s not overly energetic but does like to play and go on walks. We are working on getting him more comfortable with a leash - he is a bit all over the place but is happy to be out and about.

Overall, he’s a super friendly and easy puppy and is excited to meet his forever family!
