From the Foster:

Hi my name is Sweetie!  I’m a 6 year old dog and would really love to be an only doggo.  My foster mom says I love to roll and dive in this white stuff outside, she calls it snow, but I REALLY love it.  I get really excited for food and I’m very food motivated.  I haven’t been able to do much lately cause I had heartworms, but my foster parents say I’m on the mend.

I live with another dog right now, but I’m not really a fan of sharing my things or people so I’ve been kind of grumpy with him.  Sometimes I do just fine and seems like I'd like a friend, so maybe when I'm feeling 100%, with the right friend - I'd be ok.  But frankly, I really am fine and quite enjoy being an only fur kid :)

I’m potty trained, and I LOVE walkies, but I’m not really a fan of this really cold weather.  I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a cat but I don’t think I would care for cats.  I met some small humans once and I was very nervous and scared around them cause they were very loud, so I don’t think that would be best for me either.  I would like my own older hoomans, who can take me for short walkies and give me all the snuggles and lovies.

Hello! I am undergoing some medical treatment but I am still available for adoption! After I complete my heartworm treatment, I will need a procedure that will include a spay and mass removal. I have 2 mammary masses and a skin mass that need to be surgically removed and sent for biopsy. Secondhand Hounds will know the nature of my masses after we receive the biopsy results but I need to finish heartworm treatment before having this surgery!
