Hound (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Large
Name: Elvis
From the Foster: It doesn’t take much to make Elvis happy. Toys, treats, and lots of activities to keep him entertained are his jam.
His energy level is a bit high. So, a fenced in yard with more flexibility to be outside would be great for him to get rid of some of that energy. He doesn’t currently have any other animals in the house. But, would probably enjoy having a buddy and playmate around.
Elvis is good with kids. Just probably not too young. He can forget his size sometimes, and really gets into playing. He is house and crate trained. But, doesn’t currently use his crate too much. And, has done well being left out too.
One of his favorite activities is looking out the window, and keeping the neighborhood up to date on what is going on. This can sometimes mean barking at people and pets who may walk by.
Elvis is in the process of learning how to correctly communicate if he is feeling anxious or needs something. That currently comes out with being a bit mouthy.
Elvis will make a great addition when he finds a good fit for his forever home. More about Elvis D221291Good with Dogs, Good with Adults Other Pictures of Elvis D221291 (click to see larger version):
