Poodle (Miniature) : : Female : : Adult : : Small
Name: Molly Weasley
From the Foster: Molly is a sweet pup who has had a tough life so far. She’s a breeder release and shows some signs of anxiety. She is skittish and startles easily with noises. She paces in circles when on the ground and not kenneled. The vet just started her on Prozac and a calming powder to help with these behaviors. We are already seeing some improvements. She is an excellent cuddler and will relax when on your lap. She does well with our resident dog and has met a couple friend’s dogs and was friendly with them. She has never exhibited any aggressive behaviors. She needs her food to be soft so she is currently doing canned food, but will has also eat puppy food with water added to it. She has only barked twice and does well in her kennel. We are working on potty training and she needs to go out on a schedule. We are currently keeping her leashed in the house so we can catch her if she tries to pee inside to aid in potty training. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard and would possibly like a resident dog to teach her normal doggy behaviors but that isn’t absolutely necessary. She needs a person who wants to shower her with love and attention to help her adjust to being in a family.
