From the Foster:

Hi!  My name is Waffle, and I’m a two-year old big, loveable goober.  I am very sweet and just want to be by my human or laying in the same room as them, but do have some puppy energy I like to get out every once in awhile.  I am potty trained, crate trained, and know some basic commands!  I also walk pretty well on a leash!  I am a submissive dog who does well with the resident dog as well as the two young resident kiddos!

Being still a younger pup, and VERY food motivated, I do get into some dog mischief like grabbing things off of counters or chewing on a random toy for attention.  I’m pretty good at not jumping, but I am a big dog so may accidentally run things in the house when I’m excited - just a normal pup doing normal pup things!

You may notice a shaved head and scar in some of my pictures, that’s because when I came to Secondhand Hounds I had a small bump on my head and they recently removed it to be safe.  The vet confirmed the biopsy results showed it to be a benign, noncancerous lesion and confirmed no follow-up is necessary and my hair should grow back soon!

I make friends with everyone I meet, snuggles are my favorite, and I’d love to be a member of a loving forever home!

From the vet staff: Hello! I arrived at Secondhand Hounds with some medical issues that needed to be addressed. I had a mass removed that was sent for a biopsy. Thankfully, the biopsy results came back consistent with either a fibroma or fibroplasia, either of which are benign, noncancerous lesions. My future adopters should monitor for any mass development with a primary veterinarian. Any future treatment or testing will be at my future adopter's expense.
