From the Foster:

Cadbury is a very sweet girl with a bit of a nervous disposition, at least to start. There were a few accidents in the house the first couple of days that I put down to nervousness. It would be best to not let her out of your sight  the first couple of days - otherwise you may find that she has marked her territory inside. If she knows you're watching it won’t happen.

She also has a bit of a mischievous side and will test boundaries. She may try to get something off the table or, if your not careful, you may find that your pizza has somehow moved from the counter to the floor.

She will try to see what she can get away with but learns the rules quickly. Some reminders were needed (particularly when it comes to not taking our resident dog’s food/bones/kennel and sticking with her own) but she is eager to please and complies quickly.

She seems to be a bit skittish about going in and out of the door to the yard - not sure what that’s about but I have had to carry her inside a couple of times. She’s fine when she gets through the doorway but can be hesitant about crossing the threshold.

She gets along great with everyone. We don’t have small children in the house but Cadbury is so sweet and gentle that I think she would be good with them also. Our resident dog was not pleased with the new addition but by day 2 Cadbury had won her over and they were playing and wrestling in the yard.

She is good with her kennel and is pretty good on a leash. When walking her, she wants to sniff every blade of grass along the way and has her head down a lot. However, if she is looking up and sees a squirrel you’ll want to make sure you have a good hold on the leash.

In short, she will require a bit of patience in the beginning but she is such a sweetheart and is so eager to please that the transition process should be pretty quick.
