From the Foster:

Pablo (AKA Juan Pablo, JP, Peebs) is a one of a kind dude.  Three words to describe Pablo: affectionate, sidekick, loyal.

His hobbies include: Snoozing on your lap, sitting under your feet, licking your face ! He LOVES the outdoors, and would love a human who likes to camp, garden, or spend time outdoors!

His special talents: whole-butt-wiggle-tail-wags, making you feel like the most important person in the world

Things his forever family should know: Pablo is exceptionally loyal to his people. He loves to be wherever you are in the house at all times, ideally giving you kisses while sitting on your lap. He does like to love on new guests once he's had time to size them up, but he does have initial nerves around new people. He will snap at people who approach him before he's decided they're safe, and needs an adopter who will be his advocate, and help him feel safe in the world.   Humans are the most important to Pablo, but he also does just fine with our resident pup and foster pup, and likes to play chase with them. Pablo does take potty cues from those around him (including humans), so ongoing dedication to a strict potty schedule will help continue his great progress with housetraining.

If you want someone to remind you all day long of just how awesome and important you are, Pablo is your guy!

From the vet staff:
Hello! I have some special health needs, but am still considered adoptable.  I arrived at SHH with two pelvic f ractures. Secondhand Hounds is pursuing medical management of my fractures as a fracture repair would be very difficult due to the length of time since the fractures occurred. Great news, w ith controlled activity and rest I have shown clinical signs of improvement.  However, t here is a possibility that my fractures may not ever fully heal . It  is recommended that my future adopter continues to control my activity levels until cleared by their vet and also monitor s  me for new lameness or discomfort. Secondhand Hounds will cover the cost of my next sedated exam and X-ray recheck at the SHH Vet Clinic which needs to take place around July 11, 2022. My adopter would be responsible for working with their primary vet to discuss and schedule further x-rays or rechecks that may be necessary.
