From the Foster: Hi people! My name is Cabo and I'm still just a puppy at only 4-5 months old. I'm trying my best to learn how to be a good boy - so far I know "sit" and I'm working on "down," "kennel," and telling you when I need to go outside to do my business. I've had some accidents inside (only #1 so far), but I'm working with my foster mom to get on a schedule. I really like to be by you, and will follow you around the house and lay by you, so I do cry/bark when you leave me and I can't see you. I do like my kennel for the most part, and as long as you leave me my tennis ball and lots of yummy treats, I've been ok in my kennel for short periods when left alone. I do like to sleep in my kennel though! It's cozy and as long as I'm near you I'll sleep like a champ. I also really like to play with balls!
Mom has also told me no furniture and so far I like the floor just fine. I've seen a mailman and a neighbor dog once and had to bark to let them know I was there. I also get a little scared when you wear silly hats (like a winter cap) and will bark at you. Same with reflections in windows. I'm still learning all the new things around me and haven't gone on a walk quite yet (it's so cold!) but I don't mind being on a leash walking around the backyard.
