From the Foster:

Bala is an adorable, cuddly, friendly, and active boy. He has awesome ears and a beautiful tri-color coat. He is house trained and crate trained and such a good boy! He pretty much ignores the resident cat and gets along for the most part with the resident dogs (large lab mix and Shiba Inu). He loves playing "chase" with his foster Shiba sister. Bala has gotten a little snippy with the resident dogs, specifically when he's being held or pet and the resident dogs approaches the human. He is easily redirected and it has not been a major problem or concern. Bala is very active and playful and would do best with a fenced in yard or someone who is willing to take him on long walks and find ways for him to play and get out his energy. He loves chewing on bones and following his foster dad around the yard when he's doing yard work. Bala is a barker when a dog or people walk by the fence. It's clear Bala was well taken care of and well-loved in his previous home.

A few updates on Bala as we've now had him almost a week. Bala is now getting along much better with the resident dogs. He continues to ignore the resident cat for the most part but has chased him a few times. Bala seems to really enjoy going on walks but does need a little training for walks as he tends to pull throughout the walk. Bala constantly wags his tail and is such a loving and sweet dog!
