From the Foster:

Zander is a full of life puppy! He is a 65-70 lbs pup who doesn't quite know his size just yet. He just wants to be right near his human(s) or on top of them as much as possible, whether it’s sleeping at night or lounging on the floor watching a movie. Essentially he just loves being close; however, he is trying to understand the command ‘gentle’ and how to slow down. We have yet to have him around kids; however, he is extremely intelligent and takes cues very well. With that said, we think he will be very trainable. The downside right now is that he is a dog who will need proper training as his size and puppy habits will demand it for success. He can be a bit mouthy, but it doesn’t hurt and he is already responding to our commands to stop this habit.  He tends to be a vocal boy and patience with him is tantamount in this area otherwise he gets louder. He will bark about his perceived lack of attention, bathroom time (which is good), and has had some trauma around his crate as he really really struggles being placed in it. We have been working with him on it, but it will be a tougher area for him. Patience will be key. He will need to be on leash when walked and in a fenced yard for play as he does have a habit of running. He will need some training here. Speaking of fenced yards, he absolutely loves to roam and play in our backyard (he's out there for 6 plus hours and he loves it.) We have a small resident dog and large resident dog in our home and he does exceptionally well with them. He loves to play and mimic them.

Zander knows his basic commands (sit, a brief stay, down), takes treats very gently, is incredibly sweet, and gives the best doggie hugs.
