Name: Rachel
From the Foster:
If you’re looking for a cute sporty puppy to add some spice to your life, you’ve found her!! Little Rachel may have been the runt of her litter, but she has a big personality with just the right amount of sass. She’s an absolutely beautiful red tri with chocolate ticking and copper points on her face and legs. True to her cattle dog breeding, she’s energetic, smart, sweet, bold, affectionate, playful, loves toys and loves treats even more and explores her world with her tiny teeth! Rachel will do best in an active home interested in keeping her busy with adventures, hikes, training, dog sports and lots of attention. She was instinct tested on sheep at 12 Wks old and showed strong, keen interest with talent for driving. She’s living in her foster home with lots of other dogs, and is respectful of discipline from adults her size and up. Her play is tenacious and rowdy. Smaller dog friends under 15#’s may not appreciate Rachel’s puppy antics.
This is a special young puppy, full of talent and strong DNA genes for working long hours and being physically interactive with her environment. Not a couch potato, not a good apartment dog choice. High prey drive for smaller critters, including squirrels, dust bunnies, small children and chihuahuas. Please submit applications with eyes wide open. Hello! I'm pending some medical care but still available for adoption. I am undergoing ringworm treatment and need a spay/neuter surgery once medically cleared. Please be aware that ringworm is zoonotic, though generally a minor health concern. The treatment for canine ringworm involves oral and/or topical medication depending on the doctor's specific recommendations, and involves appointments approximately every 2 weeks. I will be adopted with an FTA (foster to adopt) contract so my adoption can take place (and I can get settled in my new home!) while SHH still manages the financial responsibility of my ringworm treatment (until resolution) and mandatory spay/neuter surgery. This care covered by SHH in the FTA contract is required to take place at the SHH Vet Center in Minnetonka. Any other medical care needed outside of the treatment and surgery c overed by the FTA contract would be the responsibility of my new family.
