Abel is such a carefree and happy boy! He’s quickly come out of his shell and insists on sharing his big, goofy smile with everyone! Abel is energetic, loving and playful and has shown to be great with people and other dogs. He's getting to know his foster sister very well! 

Abel is both house trained and crate trained. He might whine a little at first when in the crate, but quickly settles down, especially with some peanut butter and classical music :). He does well on the leash during neighborhood walks, although he can get a little excited when he sees a squirrel - I mean, what dog doesn’t?!

Abel knows a few basic commands and is quickly learning from his foster parents. He’s very treat-motivated. He comes right away when his name is called and is quick to give you his attention. Sometimes when Abel gets excited he can be a bit clumsy and might jump, but he quickly calms down when asked. He’s smart as a whip!

One of Abel’s greatest qualities is his sheer joy simply of sitting, standing or hanging out by your side. He is 100 percent a people pleaser who will love his forever humans to the Moon.
