Sweet and affectionate. Eager to please. Very smart and trainable. Easily distracted and curious on walks. Thinks of himself as a hunter chasing critters. Definite signs of separation anxiety. Loves chew toys (bones, Kongs, rope toys), they need to be durable. Very energetic but also sleeps a lot being a puppy. Seems to be very loyal, wants to be everywhere you are. Loves to run. Rarely barks.

Strongly recommending a fenced yard, otherwise requires multiple long walks a day to keep most of his puppy tendencies at bay. Crating should be at a minimum, gets very anxious with whining and can be destructive. Need to keep a close eye on him as he can be quite curious about things in house (slippers, socks, etc). Needs to work on not jumping on people and play biting. Likely would do well with another dog.
