If you hunger for unconditional love and energy, Callie the Calico cat will willingly and enthusiastically fulfill that need. Callie is an independent, playful, low maintenance cat. Her sassiness and spunk truly come out in her play. She has a blast playing with her toys - whether it is picking up balls and dribbling them around the house by herself or playing with balls and feathers with her humans. Getting out some energy helps her do well socially too.

 

Callie loves to be around her people and enjoys being the center of attention. She will be patiently waiting at the door to greet you when you come home. Her cuddly side especially comes out during naptime. She’s a sweet gal when she’s up for a petting, but when she’s done she’ll let you know, which is why it would be best for her to be in a home with older kids, who can correctly read her signals, or no kids at all. 

 

Although Callie does not currently live with any resident cats, she has not reacted to other cats at SHH adoption events and has the potential to really thrive with a playmate. Callie handles transitions into new places very easily and would make a great addition to your home.
