He has done very well with meeting new fellow canines (he loves to play), but he hasn't had the chance to meet any feline friends yet. JD is a little timid when it comes to new places and people (does very well with small children), but is usually won over quickly with some good neck scratches and treats.  He's tempted to chew items like shoes that are left out - his fosters keep an eye on him (which isn't hard because he's almost always within eyesight).  JD will almost always announce when someone is at the front door or a stranger enters the room, but he isn't overly vocal.  Among JD's favorite activities are snuggling and playing! He's incredibly affectionate and can be a total goof ball when riled up.  

JD is absolutely ready to become a permanent member of a loving family!
