Hi I'm Dakota! I'm 12 years old but don't think I don't love walks because as soon as I see my leash I go CRAZY. I have mastered what my foster mom calls the begging dance (video below). I put my paws together and dance anytime food or a walk is involved :) My previous family potty pad trained me so I've very good about using those but I have been going out frequently so I'm getting the hang of also going outside to potty. I will cry for a minute when you leave me alone but I calm down right away. I live with a puppy and another small adult dog and do great! They are a little more energetic than I am so usually I will nap while they play chase around the house. I am in need of a good dental and a quick radiograph, which is already scheduled, to take a look at my heart murmur and make sure everything looks good for my future family! I'm extremely friendly and love following you around the house. I have a favorite blue ball that I bring everywhere with me. The puppy in this house likes to steal it sometimes but I don't mind. I enjoy having my toy ball next to me during bed time and while I'm eating. It gives me comfort! I'm looking for a calm household that enjoys giving me ear scratches.
