Wheatley is truly a precious pup who needs an amazing family who can be the gentle and loving people he so deserves! Because of his background, this guy is pretty cautious and timid around people, especially new people or sudden movement. He needs a quiet home where he can lay in lots of blankets and have high frequency ‘touch and love’ in order to overcome his fear of some humans. 

Wheatley would do best with a family that does not have children as their frequent movement and sounds could be a very difficult adjustment for him; he would likely be scared but never aggressive. Wheatley would benefit from a home with another, mellow dog so that he can watch and learn normal ‘dog-ism’ and watch a fur-sibling interact with humans. Wheatley would also really like a fenced in yard as he really enjoys laying outside and seems to relax the most when he can be outside.

Wheatley doesn’t really make any noise and is super low energy, making him a great option for a family who wants to give lots of love but does not have time to train a puppy. He is working on his ‘marking’ tendencies and his fosters can provide tips and tricks for managing that!
