Abe is looking for a new best friend. He is a smart young guy who thoroughly enjoys learning new things. He enjoys attention and will take to you very quickly. So far he knows sit, come, stay, down, and shake! 

Abe does have some anxiety but as he gets comfortable in the right environment, this becomes less of an issue. His anxiety can cause him to pace and whine when he thinks he might be missing out on something fun! He is okay with spending a normal amount of time in the crate and goes in easy (as long as he gets something yummy) without getting cranky and expect lots of love from him when you get home.

He is great with other dogs, leaves cats alone, and loves to meet new people. We think Abe would do best in a home with another dog, or with somebody who will keep him active.
