German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Male : : Baby : : Large Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Name: Baja
From the Foster: Baja, I like to call him Bear, is such a curious and courageous pup! He loves people and absolutely LOVES all dogs. He loves playing with my resident Bullmastiff, and has never been intimidated by size, to him, the bigger the dog, the better! He hasn't really been around small children or cats, but I'm sure he would do great with them too.
Bear is right on track with potty training, he has had a few accidents early on, but as long as you take him out regularly, he is fine. He has not had any accidents in a while. Crate training is going a little slower, but he's learning! He does cry when he fist goes in, but he quiets down after a little while.
Bear is such a good sleeper and a master cuddler! He sleeps through the night perfectly in bed with me. He is most energetic in the morning, but takes a lot of naps throughout the day, and likes to go to bed early. We are working on leash training, and it is going great! He walks very nicely next to you.
Bear is like a typical puppy and has a very short attention span. He gets bored very easily, which means lots of toys and sometimes he tries to chew on furniture and chords, but he is a very good listener and stops when I tell him to. He loves being around people and will alway stay right by your side. Looking at his paws and his size already, Bear is going to be a big boy, my guess is around 80lbs or more.
Overall, Bear is a very mellow puppy. He is a great boy who likes to play, but can also take a nap with you whenever! He has always been outgoing and never fearful of new experiences. Since he is a German Shepard, he is going to shed a lot. He would probably prefer a home with a friend for him to play with, but would be great in any home! ![]() More about Baja D181087Good with Dogs, Good with Kids, Good with Adults Other Pictures of Baja D181087 (click to see larger version):
