Daisy is a sweet beagle ready for a low-key forever home. She loves snuggling and is very affectionate. She loves to be near you and enjoys attention.
We call her "sloth dog" because she will move toward you so slowly that you don't even notice until she's right on top of you.
She gets along well with our two dogs [both chihuahua mixes smaller than her] and we expect she'd get along well with any other pets. She's so laid back that it's hard to imagine her having a conflict with any person or animal.
We have never heard her bark. She does whine if you're somewhere she can't go, like up the stairs.
She has some physical limitations due to her history, which we imagine to be confined to a crate for breeding most of her life. She's got a bit of hip displasia; her back knees are very insecure. Because of that, she has trouble with stairs, particularly smooth ones.
She had one eye and fifteen teeth removed as part of her rescue vet visit, but she is adapting well. She was always very food-driven, and she still is.
She enjoys short walks, but at her own pace.
