Damien is an absolute cuddle bud. His sole goal in life is to get as close as possible to the nearest human. While he is working on his manners, and maybe a little better understanding of personal space, it is hard to get upset when he does it all from a place of love.

Damien seems to be new to home life, but does well with dogs and people! In his first week, he learned to take on the relatively steep stairs of the house, and in the coming weeks, He hopes to learn some new commands. I’m sure it will be easy since he’s a smart boy!

Damien is taking to his crate well, and aside from few whines at the beginning, he peacefully waits for his human to let him out. Damien is learning to trust the fact that someone will always be there to let him out! In addition to be crate trained, Damien is proving to be house trained as well. With frequent potty breaks in the backyard there have been absolutely no issues. Walks seem to be new adventure for Damien as well. He is strong and does pull a bit but not in the traditional way. Instead of dragging you forward, Damien wants to follow his nose and smell EVERYTHING. Clearly there are a ton of new stimulants when he goes on his daily adventures.

At a 1 ½ years old, Damien is finally getting a chance to learn how to “dog,” and with the stability of a forever home, this handsome fellow will prosper. Damien is sweet, loving, and thoroughly trusting of his humans.
