From the Foster:

Balboa is the sweetest boy who loves to cuddle and get tummy rubs.
Balboa came to Second Hand Hounds after having some porcupine quills
stuck in the side of his face for a week. He has gone through several
surgeries removing these quills and a lot of them even worked their
way out on their own at his foster mom's house. He has healed up so
much in the last 2 months that he has been in foster care and is ready
to go to his forever loving home

Balboa is potty trained and kennel trained. He is about 50/50 when it
comes to his energy and sleepy time. When he’s amped up he wants to
play, but he knows when it’s time to settle down or time to go to
sleep. Balboa LOVES beds and heated blankets! They are his favorite
places to lounge around the house.

Balboa does need quite a bit of work on his manners. He knows sit if
you have a treat but not too many other commands. He is very
food/treat motivated so training should go very well for him. He does
have a tendency to jump on people a lot as well, which has been being
worked on, but will need to be continued to get worked on as well as
obedience training.

Balboa has been living with a 3 year old little girl (whom he adores)
2 cats and another dog at home and he has been wonderful with all of
them. My daughter loves to play doctor with him and he’s so tolerant
of her. He will need to be in the kennel when not home though because
he does like to sneak into things that he is not supposed to!
