Name: Babe
From the Foster: Babe is a very sweet little girl! She was very, very nervous the first few days, only doing things when my kids were with her! She isn't a huge fan of our resident dogs, walking away from them if they are close, but by no means aggressive to them! She does, however, not do well with high energy dogs as they scare her too much. Babe has several quirks about her that make her a unique little lady! She does not like metal bowls because the sound of her tags on them scare her, ha! Initially, she would not walk on our hardwood floor, but has gotten better about that. And she doesn't do well with large flights of stairs, but goes up and down a few stayed with encouragement to go in and out of the house. Babe eats only soft dog food, which is an improvement from the day I brought her home because she would only eat chunks of hotdogs or lunch meat. I have been mixing hard dog food in the last few days and she has eaten some that way.
Babe is really good in a kennel, in fact she spends a lot of time just laying in it with the door open as I think it's her "safe spot." As far as potty training goes, we have been treating her as a pup because she has had a few accidents, but this has been working well.
My 4 and 8 year old are her favorite, and follows them around whenever they are home. She loves to sit on your lap and she even gives hugs! She gives kisses and dances too! She has never tried to bite anyone and my kids wrestle with her regularly. More about Babe D171706Good with Dogs, Good with Kids Other Pictures of Babe D171706 (click to see larger version):
