From the Foster:

Bailey is an active, curious Vizsla mix!

She is friendly with people, dogs and cats.  When Bailey greets new people she gets very excited and wants to jump on up on them and has been working on the proper way to greet people.  Bailey also greets other dogs in the same manner—very eager to play and please.  With a little more socializing she will also become familiar on how to greet dogs as well!  In fact, Bailey would love to have another dog in forever home to show her the ropes.

Bailey is currently in a home with cats and has been trained to leave the cats alone.  The cats are older and also understand the faster they move the more attention they draw from Bailey.  The cats are also declawed so their “love taps” as Bailey thinks are; are not as effective as they would be if the cats had claws but all in all Bailey leaves them alone.

Bailey has also been around small children and does just fine—she tends to greet them the same way as an adult.  Bailey loves to run and if the kids run then so does Bailey--She forgets about her size and just wants to have a good time.

Bailey would do best in a house with a yard so if you live in an apartment or townhouse then Bailey is not the dog for you - Bailey would also benefit from a fenced yard—6 feet plus because this slender gal can jump!!  If you are a runner or love to be outside and 'do things' - Bailey would love to join you!

She loves a good walk and does so daily in her foster home.  She is working on not pulling and has a nose that won’t quit!  If you are looking for a hunting dog—then you and Bailey would might make a great fit!

Bailey has been potty trained and also crate trained.  She stays in the crate at night to ensure a great rest for everyone.  She also stays in the crate 3 days a week while foster mom works.  Bailey comes with a travel mat for the car as car rides are new to her and she has been drooling a lot while traveling.
