Name: Bacall
From the Foster: We have all heard the expression, "Were you born in a barn". The answer from Abby's puppies would most likely be an unapologetic "Yes!" These little cowdogs are new to indoor living and they are doing great. They aren't fazed by ceiling fans, appliances or the TV. They seek me out for pets and approval and are quick to wag their tails. They even use papers to potty when they are not outside. They haven't mastered asking to go out but they are smart and will catch on quickly. Please read up on Red Heelers/Australian Cattle Dogs because that breed appears to be a major contributor here. They will fit best with an active family, great potential jogging partners. They come from working and herding type ancestors and they may have a tendency to be independent and bossy without early and consistent training. Fenced yards would be a good environment and they probably will not be good with small kids because of their herding tendencies. Apartment living would be difficult because these pups are talkers! Bacall is even tempered and calm for the most part. She loves to race and chase with her siblings, of course, but she doesn't seem to have an excessively strong prey drive. She is very feminine and pretty and her ears have finally decided to stand up consistently. *NOT SUITABLE IN AN APARTMENT*
