Hi, my name is Abbott and I'm looking for my forever family - is that you? 

 

I'm house and crate trained and am really good at going right in the crate when you're ready to leave each morning. I'm looking for a family that has no small children because fast movements and unexpected noises are a little scary to me. Apartments are a no-go, the noises and crowds are not for me! I would also love another dog in the house to take cues from but if it's just me and my human(s) - that's cool too! 

 

I love my foster brother and our favorite thing to do is rough house in the backyard. I have yet to meet a cat so I’m not sure how I feel about them. I like walks but will probably need some training to make sure that I’m not going faster than my new mom or dad. I am also a-ok with a fenced-in backyard that I can do some laps in before I hit the couch for some Netflix. At night, I started sleeping in a dog bed at the foot of my foster mom's bed but now I love to cuddle up with her each night. 

 

I may start out a little shy but I warm up quickly and I learn fast - I knew what the words "crate" and "bed" meant after just a few weeks and we're working on "sit" now. I may have not have had the kindest start to life but all I really want to do is meet a person or family that I can love and cuddle with for the rest of my days.
