Oakley is a big handsome boy with a heart of gold. His purr box works overtime and a good head scratch is never shunned. Oakley’s favorite spot in the house is right on my work desk where attention is only a paws length away. He is my constant digital retouching companion.
I typically wake to him sleeping by my head patiently awaiting his morning food. Oakley is not a vocal cat. He is quiet as a mouse. Unless I am in the shower. Apparently he gets quite concerned about what is going on behind the curtain and there is great fear I may oversaturate myself.
He usually sits and cries until I exit.
Oakley loves his scratching post and he does have some well honed claws. He has on occasion tried out the furniture but a reprimand and redirection has worked very well. We have had very few mistakes. Oakley is awesome with the litter box and I have rarely had an issue with counter jumping.
Oakley is one of the best cats I have the pleasure of fostering. He is a sweet boy.
