Ugo is a wonderfully good boy!  He is sweet and gentle, and is seeking a home with these traits too.  He is meek and quite submissive – he’ll cower sometimes even when approached slowly and with care.  His energy is so mild that our (admittedly bratty) resident dogs accepted him with no issue whatsoever.  We’ve never heard him bark, but he does whine he feels lonely or insecure.  We are working to help him gain confidence, and are seeing small improvements daily.  He is housebroken and crate trained, but doesn’t necessarily enter a crate enthusiastically.  That said, he’s been fine having the run of the house, and enjoys lounging on the sofa...and on the backyard grass...and on the bed with us...or in a nearby dog bed...this guy loves lounging!  He is so incredibly sweet, and he’s an easy dog so long as one is patient and gentle with him.  He is a world class cuddler and loves to be beside us.  He is very content in the company of other dogs (ours are small; not sure about big dogs but he’s an easy going dude!)  He’s loyal and lovely with a toothy underbite smile and a silly curly tail.  Ugo is a seriously good little boy!  His ideal home has another (mellow) dog, a fenced yard to lounge in, and calm energy.  That said, he’s very adaptable, and what he needs most is love, which he will return to you in spades.  Mellow dog lover seeking mellow, loving dog encouraged to apply!
