From the Foster: Callie is very sweet and loves to be around people and gets along nicely with other dogs. She shares a food dish with the other dogs with no problems and seems to be very easy going with them. We don't have cats but with her personality I imagine she would do well with them as well. She loves to cuddle on your lap. She looks to have some jack russel terrier in her, as she's got the look, and the fact that she can jump 3 feet straight up in the air like her legs are little springs! She's great with kids, very patient with my girls who want to pet and hold her. Callie is a bundle of energy, she doesn't sit still for long, and is working on crate training. She doesn't like sleeping in her kennel - she cried in there her first night for quite a while. We might try letting her sleep in my 12 yr old daughter's room to see if she feels more comfortable with someone to snuggle with. She seems like she would thrive with a family who would let her sleep in the room with them because she doesn't like to be alone.
