Daeja has been scientifically proven to be the best dog ever! She's very, very sweet and friendly with everyone she meets, and she's very obedient and tries really hard to follow the rules (even though sometimes she gets confused). She's a quiet pup and rarely barks, even around other dogs--so far, the few other dogs she's met she's been very friendly and hasn't barked or growled, even when they've barked at her. She's house trained and crate trained, but she loves people so much that if you're around, she might be sad in the crate instead of snuggling with you on the couch. Sometimes she'll wedge herself behind you on the couch for maximum snuggle! She loves getting petted and loves meeting new people. We're working on her being calm around other people and not jumping--she's doing a great job so far! We're also working on commands like sit and lie down.

 

I'm not sure if she's ever had toys in the past, because she doesn't seem to know a lot about what to do with them and doesn't seem to know fetch yet, but she loves a Kong with frozen peanut butter or another treat, and will stay put for a while trying to figure out how to get every last lick out of there. She also loves walks, but we haven't been able to go for long walks because of how cold it is. (She's got booties and a coat, and she's not a fan of the booties, but will cooperate with putting them on and adjusting them--she's very patient.) She would be a great hiking dog once it gets a little warmer!

 

Last thing--she's very soft and doesn't shed very much at all, and loves belly rubs.
