From the Foster:

Abbey is a sweet, goofy, loving pitbull mix.  She loves attention, belly rubs, and ear scratches from any people she meets. She does fine in a crate during the day and loves to hang out with her family in the evenings. She's loose-leash trained, great in cars, and potty trained (as long as she gets outside a few times a day). Her favorite toys are tennis balls and pb-stuffed kong treats. She’s even learning some commands (sit, stay, drop it, etc). She'll do pretty much anything for a treat or a back scratch! She loves to be around people as much as possible, but does just fine when left alone.

Abbey does well with dogs but does prefer smaller dogs, she gets reactive and defensive around larger dogs.  She has made friends with dogs of all sizes, but it takes a longer slower intro for ones bigger than her.  For this reason she would not be great at dog parks or situations where there are a lot of unknown dogs.  She's good with cats, too - a little interested, but if they hiss at her or tell her to leave them alone, she listens very well.

She LOVES kids.  Loves them.  Big, Small, Babies, Teenagers...  If she could live on a planet where everyone was a child and they all swarmed around her at all times it would be her personal heaven.

The greatest things about Abbey are her playfulness, her friendliness around people, and her love of a nice nap and snuggle. This brown-eyed girl will melt  your heart!
