Hi, I'm Cali! My foster parents thinks I'm sweet as pie. At first I'm kind of shy, but only for a few seconds because once you talk nicely to me, I'll give you tons of smooches. I absolutely LOVE other dogs, seriously, do you have any dogs at your house? I have 3 (big) foster brothers and we love to wrestle, play tug, chase tennis balls, and I even followed my big brother into the swimming pool the other day! I have lots of energy, so I love having pup pals to play with!  In fact, I really thrive with a friend, they make me feel safe and confident - so my forever home should have a dog.  Without one I get a little fearful and it will take me a lot longer to feel safe and adjust - and I just want the rest of my life to be super happy!  
 
I like my crate, I think... I need a little coaxing to go inside, like a smelly treat or a stuffed Kong, and sometimes I whine for a few minutes (only because I miss you!), but then I settle down and relax. I'm (mostly) house-trained. I'm learning how to tell my foster parents when I need to go potty, but if you keep me on a schedule I do pretty well! I've never met a cat before, but foster mom thinks I'd probably be way too interested in them based on how I do on walks, or with other small furry things!!  
 
Foster mom and dad say that my perfect forever family is one that will spoil me with treats, toys, playtime and snuggles every single day! Could you be my forever family?! 
 

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.

Note  - We change an animal's listing to say "PENDING ADOPTION" when they already had a meet and greet with a family who plans to adopt   that animal.  We put "NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS" on a listing when an animal has multiple applications in and the foster has asked to stop accepting any more while they review the applications they've already received.
