Rachel is a very sweet, loving young dog. She has lots of energy and at the same time, loves to cuddle on couch.

Rachel loves all types of people and is not a shy dog. She is great with kids and other dogs. She is being fostered currently with two children (1 and 5 years old) and two resident older dachshund female mixes.
Since she is a younger dog, she is still mouthing people's hands. Her foster redirects the behavior with putting a toy in her mouth and the behavior stops.
As a young dog, she is still learning how to walk on a leash and is getting better every day. Rachel lets you know when she needs to go outside to the bathroom by standing next to the door. Typically her fosters have found letting her out right after she eats is best and prevents most accidents.
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
