Gia is a talkative, expressive, 8-pound sweetheart.  She's timid at first, but once she feels at home, she's definitely the boss. Her hobbies include catching the worm on a stick, growling at passing neighbor dogs, sleeping in houseplants, wearing pretty dresses, climbing to the highest shelf in a room, sitting on computer keyboards, giving awesome kitty kisses, and unsuccessfully trying to convince her senior foster sister to play chase.

Gia also likes lounging in the bay window, cuddling with people, and playing with her foster brother Halo (before he was adopted). If ever she is around children or adults who aren’t paying attention to her body language and vocalizations, she will give light warning swipes/nips when she's overstimulated.  She would do best with a family that understands that she's not always ready for petting.

Her ideal home would be as an only cat.  She would also be happy in a home with a playful, outgoing adult cat that likes to play a little rough and doesn't mind being bossed around.
