Hi, my name is Pretty Girl. I'm a pretty modest gal but I’m thankful for my name, it makes me feel special.

I get really excited when I meet new people!  I love to smile and wag my tail! If you let me, I'll even kiss you more than you've ever been kissed before! My favorite place to be is napping on your lap or the spot right next to you. I will be your best bud wherever you go, ready to keep you company.  Cuddling is my favorite activity.  I don't like to be left alone often, mostly because it’s lonely and I miss you. But I’m learning to be good at waiting patiently when I have to. Seeing you come home will be the happiest part of my day, and my hopes is that it will be yours too. I will go on as many walks/runs as you will let me and when we get back inside, relaxing is easy. My foster parents tell me I’m really smart. I think learning is fun and tend to catch on quickly. I like it when you are proud of me, so I will keep doing my best. Anything for a good belly rub!

There are some other dogs that I like right away when I meet them. Others, not so much. But once I feel like I can trust them, they're mostly OK. Cats are really fun to chase but my foster dad keeps telling me that I'm not supposed to because it's not polite.  I'm not quite sure I'd like to live with them, too much temptation for a girl like me. He tells me that I'm doing well walking with him on leash but sometimes I get distracted by squirrels and rabbits and other junk. Know what I mean?

Anyway, why don't you come meet me?  I think we could be really good friends. All I would ask is that you understand me and aren't ever mean to me. I've heard that some people are mean to dogs and that makes me sad. I just want to make people happy and find a home of my own someday. My paws are crossed.

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
