From the Foster:

Aldridge is a happy-go-lucky dog, who enjoys smelling all the smells outside and ‘hunting’ with his nose. His hunting by sight is fun to watch, he's great at spotting squirrels and slowly tries to sneak upon them. Aldridge makes a great work-from-home buddy. His daily routine starts after breakfast: a little squirrel watching, followed by napping, chewing on a favorite toy, and then back to napping. Aldridge is a cuddler. He likes to be touching his humans either by leaning against them or laying on their feet. He is excited to meet everyone but will pretty quickly settle back into chewing on one of his favorite toys.

He is a strong, sweet, and smart dog who enjoys training activities, playing scent and puzzle games, and taking meandering walks that let him use his nose. Aldridge is food motivated, making him respond well to training activities. Commands he knows are: sit, lay down, crawl, come, here, leave it, let’s go, and nose touch. He is working on not tugging while on a leash and can be redirected when he gets excited about other animals, people, or starts to bark.

Aldridge is fully housetrained, is excellent at entering his crate, and will use it as a place to nap during the day and sleeps there overnight quietly. He can be selective about other dogs, so having a housemate would simply require a compatible friend!
