Philip is such a sweet, silly boy. He is quite timid/shy with strangers but once he warms up he loves to be petted and get his belly scratched. He is very quiet, low energy, and just loves to get attention. He is very silly and flips over on his back to get petted if you look at him or approach him. He does a little happy dance when he's excited and his tail is always wagging. He has this incredibly soft, velvety fur that is so nice to pet.

Philip mostly ignores my kids and is not aggressive in the slightest, but because he is so small and delicate I'd like to see him go to a home with only older or no children. Philip is very close to housetrained, with only the occasional accident. I think that if he had a puppy pad to go to when he can't wait that would help. Philip hardly barks at all, so he's well suited to an apartment or condo as well. He is fine with other dogs, as he just ignores them.

I have fostered many dogs through Secondhand Hounds and if I was in a position to adopt, honestly Philip would be the one. He so deserves a loving home. He is so sweet and silly and snuggly. You'll fall in love with him!
